Are you looking for a good salary?

Many of the applicants are looking for a high salary and GOOD working conditions because of the low supply of helpers in HK.  You can say this is the moment of HELPER time...; however, beware of these: 

Always looking for Food Allowance: 
By the HK law, if the employer provides you food allowance  (HKD 1173)  which means you only have HKD 39.1 per meal day and you will NOT be allowed to have any of the employer's food: coffee, rice, bread, oil, extra... 

Unusual high salary: 
Some of the difficult job duties, special skills or has a long relationship with the employer. It is worth it to DESERVE a high salary. However, if you are nothing "special/skill", you need to beware. Many employers are still waiting for the helper from the Philippines because they paid already.  In the means time, they just need a handle hand to help temperately, once the overseas helper arrives. Are you good/ worth enough to stay? After all, most of the overseas salaries only cost $4630. Think about it, if you were the employer, which one will you choose? EXPENSIVE or the CHEAP one? Don't forget, if you were terminated, without a "good" reason, you have to go back to your country. 

According to one helper, she told me: 
Salary will NOT be my main concern. High Salary means high demand. Similar to a relationship, I prefer to choose someone to treat me like a family person and respect. If the employer knows how to give thanks, I will not worry about my food, salary, and my health.
